It started in Sardinia.




Epistrophy was founded by Sardinian friends who fell in love with New York City and decided to make it their home.  Their goal was to bring a sense of authentic Italian cuisine and culture to downtown NYC without the hype or the pretense - to create a sense of belonging for locals and tourists alike.  

We proudly serve an organic, locally sourced menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner that is heavily based on our favorite Sardinian recipes and traditions. Thank you for being part of our community for over the past 10 years. Our name is a nod to great jazz and artful living.  - Luca, Giorgia and Nico
